IF Design Award 2006 Philips Practix Convenio Mobile X-Ray
The Philips Practix Convenio is a mobile X-ray system. It is used in a hospital environment to make X-ray images of patients that can´t be moved to the X-ray department due to their physical condition and/or to make X-ray images of patients after their surgery, while they are lying in bed in their sickroom.
The complex technology of this X-ray system is build around its interface with the user. Attractive detailing in color and form emphasizes the human-focused user-zones and contrasts with a simple and efficient form language applied in the system-zone.
